Jayne adapted rather well to Air Canada's Executive class and although the flight was delayed by over an hour we did manage to make our connection after a 2 mile sprint in Frankfurt. This was rather gruelling after a 9 hour flight and at 3 am pacific time. We made the flight, but Jayne's bike did not. After two trips back to the airport, and dealing with Colonel Klink at customs, it was released. So there are two of us, and eight bags and two bikes, and we are now nice and cozy in all 20 square feet of the hotel apartment.
Our first scheduled meeting started at 8:30in the morning (11:30pm last night our time). We now have left our passports with the authorities, set up our bank account, purchased health care, and started the relocation agent on house hunting. We decided to return the rental car, and therefore spent 4 hrs re assembling our bikes. So after 26 hours of travel, a half day of meetings, and a half day of bike assembly and a few more hours of sleep, we are now ready to start Adventure Germany. I think we lost a half day somewhere, but I guess we get that back when we return home to Canada in a few years?
Time to go!
I think those are all of our bags!

Some assembly required! This is why we don't like renters!
